Cleaning Your Rims With A Pressure Washer
Some people give advice that you shouldn’t wash your rims with a pressure washer. Our experience has been that you indeed can use a power washer without causing any damage to your wheel. Just use a washer that can have its pressure adjusted.
You may have discovered that cleaning your car rims by hand can be pretty difficult, but the job can be made a lot easier by properly using a pressure washer.
Cleaning rims using a pressure washer can be superior in eliminating the tough stains of ugly caked-on brake dust and grease from your wheels.
If you don t own a portable pressure washer, you’ll be able to buy one at very affordable prices online or at your neighborhood home improvement store.
To do a really good cleaning job you should also purchase a good, non abrasive rim cleaner. There are many top quality brands available online.
It only takes a little bit of rim cleaning solution to effectively clean rims in conjunction with a power washer.
Here’s an easy step by step method.
- Step back a couple of feet and a bit off to the side of the rim then rinse the rim from about 8 inches away. Be sure to spray into the crevices and spray from different angles.
- Spray the rim using a circular motion around the outside of the wheel and be sure to rinse the tire as well.
- Put the sprayer wand down and apply tire cleaning solution onto the tire.
- Using the pressure washer, rinse the whole tire this time from about 5 inches away.
- Now spray the rim with rim cleaner generously, following label directions. Usually you’ll have to leave it sit on the rim for a few minutes to lift the debris.
- Rinse the cleaner from the rim from about 8 inches away with the pressure washer.
Note:
- Always clean the rims before you clean your tires and only clean your wheels after you’ve cleaned your car body. You don’t want all that dirt from the body washing back onto your clean rims.
- Dry your rims with an old bath towel. Optionally you can apply a light coat of car wax which will keep your rims clean longer and make your next washing easier by reducing the amount of dust that will “stick” to your rims.
So, remember, cleaning your wheels can be done easily and quickly.

Accident Claim Online
Many people rely on a solicitor for advice or assistance regarding a variety of aspects of their lives. When facing what can feel like an uphill battle in the world of personal injury claims, the intensity of that reliance is great. The injured person or persons is normally recovering not only from the physical damage that they incurred as a result of someone else’s negligence, but also from the pain, suffering, and distress caused by the disturbance of their normal lifestyle. There may be trauma: a natural by-product of one person injuring another, accidental or not. Often there are not only medical bills and appointments, but lost wages, lost abilities or sometimes, even lost life for which a claimant is seeking compensation.
Due to the complexity of injury law and the process of proving negligence and winning a case, most claimants will eventually seek some form of professional legal advice in the form of a solicitor. There are solicitors who work individually, but some people feel more comfortable with an established group of solicitors, who often tend to have access to more resources, that means the brains and experience of each member.
Perhaps you already have a relationship with a personal firm of solicitors. But when so much is at stake, personal firms are not always the best choice. Choosing a legal advisor solely on the basis of existing relationships can injure a claimant’s chances of winning a case. Just because your neighbor’s brother just got a job at a law firm doesn’t mean that you should choose that firm. However, if his job is with one of the top injury firms in Great Britain, which you have verified through a reliable source, then following the instinct to choose his firm is likely to prove to be a good choice.
If you are not lucky enough to have the neighbor with a brother working for a fabulous injury firm, then choosing the right solicitor can sometimes seem overwhelming. In any town in the United Kingdom, it is easy to find a solicitor. Simply open the phonebook or look in the local newspaper’s personals, and there are bound to be plenty of choices. Yet selecting someone solely on the basis of an advertisement is not necessarily the best way to make what will likely turn out to be a rather important decision either.
There are a number of sources of information to help you choose the right injury firm with solicitors who have experience with cases where one individual or organization injures another. These solicitors have the knowledge that will allow them to best personalise how they handle your case depending on the severity and extent of your injuries and expenses. The Community Legal Service Direct is one such resource. They can provide information on how to file a claim on your own as well as how to select a solicitor and what to expect throughout the litigation process. Located throughout Great Britain, there are also Community Advice Bureaux and Law Centres, which exist to make sure that citizens have the information they need to make the right choices regarding their legal needs.

Maintaining superior vehicle performance with Volkswagen OEM Part
Knowing more about the auto industry helps a lot in the desired customization of your vehicle. With so many parts and accessories around, it is rather difficult to determine which part suits perfectly to the specifications of your ride. Investment also poses utter importance as to getting the best part that offers the biggest bang for your buck. Thus, parts are categorized in many labels in order to offer a wide variety of selection and freedom of choice for an auto part buyer. From aftermarket parts to OEM parts, these components cater well to the specific needs of your Volkswagen which demand nothing but quality parts to enhance its already remarkable overall performance. A Volkswagen OEM part refers to the part made by the same manufacturer as the genuine part you get from the local auto dealer. In reality, car makers do not make the parts they use in building their vehicles. Most of the time, they would utilize independent companies in helping the design the vehicles, just like the case of Volkswagen. You may wonder about the availability of these parts, though. But after a certain period of time, they already have the go-signal to sell these Volkswagen OEM parts to the wholesale distributors for resale. In this instance, the parts are packed in the box bearing the actual name of the manufacturer of that part. Quality-wise, it does not pose any difference at all. It is even cheaper (by almost 70 percent) than the dealer originally sold for and continues to sell. On the other hand, an aftermarket part refers to the product purchased and installed into the vehicle made from a company other than the original manufacturer of the car. Majority of the performance parts are made by aftermarket companies since they have specialization in a particular field. From catalytic converters to tail lights, aftermarket parts abound and excel in what they thrive in. Aftermarket companies purchase the rights to reproduce these parts and supply them to the same wholesale distributors as the OEM parts. These parts are generally produced with the same machinery and materials but because they were not designed in the same manner the part may have minor differences in appearance and feel. There’s no big difference between a Volkswagen OEM part like an air intake with a Volkswagen AEM air intake. Some aftermarket companies, upon getting the right to produce a part, may indeed find a way to improve a part by redesigning it. This results in a better part, and quite possibly, a less expensive one. There are a variety of high quality aftermarket parts that can be purchased and live up to all the expectations of the original at a much lower price. But what kind of part may be, OEM and aftermarket parts are manufactured to perform the way it is designed for. A Volkswagen OEM part like a catalytic converter performs the same caliber as an aftermarket one. It is up to the owner which kind of part he chooses to fit well to his Volkswagen.
